FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I bring to my first appointment ?
You must bring your medication list with exact dosages, you vaccination booklet (if possible), your medical and surgical history, list of known allergies and family medical history. If necessary, your physician will claim the necessary elements from your previous records.
If I need an urgent appointment, how do I proceed ?
You need to call and ask for an urgent appointment and explain the situation to our secretary. As much as possible, emergency appointments will be available in the next 24-48 hours on appointment only. Messages left on our voicemail before opening hours are treated in priority then the requests received during the day are treated as they come based on availabilities and degree of urgency.
Does consulting in private medicine makes it faster for me to see a specialist ?
Physicians have no power on the delays in appointments with specialists. Some specialists who practice in private are more accessible and our physicians know the available resources but this is not a guarantee.
What if I can't make it to my appointment ?
It’s important to notify us at least 24 hours before the appointment so we can accommodate another patient. Appointments are confirmed 24 to 48 hours in advance. Fees of 33% will be charged for missed appointments or not canceled 24 working hours before.
